SWIRL Enterprise 4.4: Document-Focused AI, Connect All, and PII Redaction

← All Releases

Team SWIRL is announcing general availability of SWIRL Enterprise 4.4 - adding deep document analysis, streamlined OAuth2 management, enterprise-grade PII protection, and expanded language support.

AI Search Assistant: Single-Document Deep Analysis

The AI Search Assistant can now locate and hold a specific file, enabling an extended conversation focused on that document without losing context. Users can ask follow-up questions, request summaries of specific sections, compare clauses, or extract structured information - all within a persistent session anchored to one document.

This workflow is especially powerful for contract review, policy analysis, and technical documentation deep-dives where a user needs to interrogate a single source at length.

Connect All: OAuth2 at a Click

The Galaxy UI now includes a Connect All button that re-connects and refreshes all OAuth2 sources in a single action. For users working across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other OAuth2-authenticated sources, this eliminates the friction of re-authenticating each source individually after session expiry.

PII Detection and Redaction via Microsoft Presidio

4.4 adds enterprise PII detection powered by Microsoft Presidio. PII detection can be applied to queries, results, and RAG responses, with a configurable choice of redaction (masking) or removal. This enables deployment in environments with strict data privacy requirements without sacrificing search functionality.

New Connector: Inflectra SpiraPlan

SWIRL 4.4 includes a production-ready SearchProvider for Inflectra SpiraPlan, enabling federated search across agile project management data alongside all other enterprise sources.

Advanced German Query Processing

German query processing has been substantially improved, including de-compounding of compound words - a critical capability for accurate search across German-language enterprise content.
